Overview

A brisk-paced (2.8-3.0 mph) circular walk led by Rosie W (Mobile No: 07808 161598), with undulating ascents for two thirds of the walk. Thereafter, a gentle descent, then linear woodlands. No drop-out points. Route: Canal walk, Albury Nowers, Steps Hill, Ivinghoe Beacon – magnificent views, Chalk Lion, Coomb Forest, Steep ascent: 87 steps, Little Gaddesden for picnic lunch, Albury Common, Tring Station.  Map: E181, L165.
