Trull short walk, tea & training

Trevor will lead a short walk from Trull Village Memorial Hall at 1.30 pm. The walk is  2.20 miles, approximately one hour. The route is mainly flat with nothing steep but may be some uneven ground and could be slippery/muddy in parts. Sticks suggested, 4 stiles (3 to lift dog over), 1 low tree to step over. Little distance on minor roads, single file please. Some nice scenery. There will be no drink stop during the walk.

Following the walk tea/coffee/cake will be provided for all at the Hive cafe. There will then be a session to signpost the training and support available for walk leaders (and potential walk leaders!) on the Ramblers website, use of the new Ramblers risk assessment and also information on using the Ordnance Survey maps app for plotting, following and recording walks. Please come along and join us. It is expected the session will take another 1.5 hours.
