A fast paced walk through the rolling hills, woodland and occasional ancient rocks in the Weald to the east and south of Royal Tunbridge Wells. We may also see heritage diesel or steam trains go past on the Spa Valley Railway. It is not an especially hilly walk, with a total ascent of just over 500 metres.
Bring a packed lunch and plenty of water. The lunch stop will be just after the halfway point where there is a toilet (and possibly a small pop-up drinks stand), and there will be a pub stop at around two thirds distance. Plenty of pubs to choose from in the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells town centre at the end, there is also The Ivy for anyone wishing to spend a small fortune!
