We are Reigate Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We meet at the Red Lion car park at Turners Hill for a circa 4.4 mile circular walk - although when recced it seemed to be closer to 5 miles! The publican has Ok’d us using the small car park although there is limited parking on Lion Hill and please car share where possible.
With frequent road closures and diversions it is advised to check the route on the day on Google maps or any other system which provides live updates.
The walk is mostly along reasonable footpaths and bridleways with ¼ on the Worth Way/Sussex border path which follows the old railway line. There is also some walking on roads although mostly quiet and a respite from the muddy fields of recent walks.
Longer and/or steeper: 1 ascent, 1 descent, 3 stiles, 2 - 2.5 mph (our usual pace), assistance dogs only please.
