Why not join us for some post Christmas fresh air whilst enjoying a leisurely walk from the Royal George Pub in Birdlip? We will head towards Brimpsfield, then across the A417 at Nettleton, through Stockwell for some fine views of Coldwell Bottom. A short coffee stop, then return, circling around Shab Hill where the A417 missing link is under construction, through Barrow Wake and return to the Royal George. Possible twixtmas drink or lunch .... if having lunch, please place order before the walk starts.

For those staying for lunch, parking is available in the car park behind the Pub, otherwise roadside parking is available alongside the Village Hall and School.
This is five mile up and down hill walk which may well be muddy in places so would reccommend sturdy boots and maybe a walking pole or two.
We welcome new members and this being a shortish walk, is ideal for those who might not be used to walking but feel the need to get out of the house and join a friendly bunch of Ramblers. If you enjoy your walk and would like to walk with us again, please feel free to look up our walks on the Ramblers website.. After three walks you need to join Ramblers to continue walking with us. We are Gloucestershire Walking Group and our Ramblers group code is GR50.
Please be aware that we do not accept Dogs on our walks except for Assistance Dogs.
