The walk is in the farmland and restored mining land around Armthorpe. 90% flat and on good paths. A short stretch of roadside walking and a bit through some housing. We aim to be back at the Horse and Groom about 1.30pm The quiz will start about 2.00pm once we are settled in the pub.
There will be one ‘ coffee stop ‘ on the walk itself. We cannot eat our own food in the pub but the pub should have its normal bar menu available to order.
All welcome on the walk. No limit. But must book for the quiz please. May be limited to 30 at the pub. To book, please contact Charlie.

Meet outside The Horse and Groom on Nutwell Lane in Armthorpe for a 10.30 start. Please do not use the pub car park without prior permission. There is plenty of easily accessible roadside parking in the roads behind the pub. So polite parking there please.
