The morning section of the walk involves a relatively steep ascent from Pen-yr-heol Chapel up to the summit of Twmpa to offer some stunning views (weather permitting). The subsequent south-east ridge walk and the descent into the Nant Bwch can be a little challenging in places, but the lunch stop beside this lovely stream is a suitable reward. The afternoon section follows the Nant Bwch up to its source and then takes a route back down to the very peaceful chapel.
Please bring a packed lunch.
This walk is not suitable for dogs.
