Overview

This walk starts by St Mary's Church in Twyford, near Winchester.  We cross the River Itchen, twice, and climb towards the top of Twyford Down before joining the Pilgrims' Way and heading south to the pretty village of Owslebury.  Expect some gently rising ground,  good distant views and 8 stiles.  Sturdy footwear and warm clothing are strongly recommended.   Please ensure that you inform the leader if you intend coming on this walk.  Car parking at the church in Twyford is limited so please car-share wherever possible. A picnic lunch will be needed.
