Overview

Meet in country park near the River Tyne. The walk follows the Tyne River trail, then up  to Warden Hill where we will visit the iron age hill fort before heading  to Fourstones. Here  there is a splendid off the peg mission church (see pic 2), one of only 2 in the country, and back down to the river.  Having followed the  South Tyne, we go back to Bridge End, and pass the meeting of the South Tyne and North Tyne  before making our way back to Hexham.
