A slightly shorter walk for New Years Eve. This circular walk starts with a road section from the Whiteway Hill View car park to Creech View car park. We then follow the ridge past Grand Arch for a couple of miles before dropping down towards Kimmeridge village. Just before reaching the village we turn west along the lower ridge and over the top of Tyneham Cap before joining the SWCP for a mile or so. From the SWCP we take the path down into Tyneham for a look around. Depending of the weather, we may take lunch enjoying the views from Tyneham Cap, or alternatively undercover in Tyneham village. From Tyneham we walk to Tyneham beach (Worbarrow bay) before the final sting in the tail – the steep ascent of Flowers barrow. From the top of Flowers Barrow we follow the higher ridge back to the car park. There is the option of a slightly less steep and easier route following the path from Tyneham directly to the ridge top. This avoids the steep ascent of Flowers Barrow and is a couple of miles shorter.
