We are the Balerno Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a circular coastal and woodland walk along sandy beaches and woodland / farm tracks.
There are views to Dunbar over the Tynemouth Bay, the Firth of Forth to the Bass rock and Isle of May and an opportunity to visit the smallest harbour in Scotland near Seacliff Beach.
Some paths could be muddy. Tree root trip hazards. Beach and farm road/tracks all very quiet.
Needing to cross two burns, one will require waterproof boots, the other is a small jump. None are difficult.
Bring a small towel.
Please bring binoculars if you have them.

Currie Library Car Park, From Currie Library car park - head to city bypass towards Old Craighall junction and join A1 heading to Berwick on Tweed. Take Abbostview junction slip road to E Linton A199, by-passing E Linton and then on to North Berwick/ Whitekirk junction A 198 which is signposted the left. Head north past Tyninghame village junction towards North Berwick for approx. 1.7 mls. Turn right onto Limetree walk - a straight road for around 1.3 miles to Tyninghame car park. Parking is £2.50 per car. Please bring correct change.
