Hello Everyone
We're always keen to explore nice but lesser known places hence this Sundays walk just east of Shrewsbury with a mainly flat sortie through the countryside of the Sundorne estate, starting from the village of Uffington visiting the remains of the Augustinian Haughmond Abbey and returning up and over Haughmond Hill.

Directions. Primarily for our own members or anyone arriving via the M54 & A5 westbound.
From your home location take the M54 then the A5 to the first island (Preston Island near Shrewsbury) where turn right onto the A49, direction Whitchurch.
After 1.6 miles turn right at the next island onto B5062 signed for High Ercall, Roden & Uffington.
After 400 yards turn first right signed for Uffington & Atcham. Uffington Village Hall car park is 800 yards later on your left, just after the right hand bend.
