Overview

Park on road alongside cricket field at Great Hampden. We head through Keepershill and Monkton woods before visiting Turnip End on our way, through fields, to Upper North Dean. The return to Great Hampden is via Speen. Two ascents of note otherwise our route largely follows the contours in this hilly part of Bucks which leads to good views. Some muddy patched possible in woods depending on preceding weather. Bear in mind we are now in peak nettle and bramble growing season so come attired appropriately! Bring refreshments for one short break.
