We are the Chiltern Young Walkers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Join us for the Waddesdon circular, viewing the scenic countryside surrounding the Waddesdon estate.
Please note, parts of this walk will be muddy and at one point we may have to clamber over a gate, so please ensure you dress appropriately, especially footwear, no trainers please! Please also take a packed lunch and plenty of water.
P.S. If you are coming from Aylesbury note the A41 is blocked from that direction so account for an extra 15 minutes travel time.
We will start at the far end of the car park for Waddesdon Manor to avoid the crowds for buses to the manor. We will head onto Waddesdon Estate with excellent views over the countryside before passing upper Winchendon. We will then head towards woodland before moving across farms where we should see sheep grazing.
We’ll then pass through the village of Ashendon where we’ll stop for some lunch. Afterwards we'll go through more agricultural land before heading back along a route with good views of the manor before heading along woodland paths back to the starting point.
