This 10.5-mile circular walk begins at Watlington Hill National Trust car park, offering a mix of stunning landscapes and serene woodland paths. With approximately 550m of elevation gain, this moderately challenging route is perfect for walkers seeking both exercise and natural beauty.
The journey begins with a steady climb, rewarding you with breathtaking vistas from the top of Watlington Hill, where rolling countryside stretches as far as the eye can see.
A highlight of the walk is a picturesque pond, complete with a whimsical duck house and colourful koi carp gliding beneath the surface. The walk meanders through ancient woodlands and includes multiple hilly climbs.
This walk is a must for nature lovers and those who enjoy exploring the quiet beauty of the Chilterns.

By car
The walk begins at Watlington Hill National Trust Car Park, OX49 5HS. Parking charges apply: £1 for National Trust members or £3 for non-members.
