We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Unfortunately, we have been forced to make a late change of venue for the Christmas Walk and Lunch. We are no longer able to visit the Vine – but have managed to find what we are sure will be a suitable alternative location for both the walk and the lunch: the Queens College Arms on the A340 to Basingstoke RG26 5QR.
We are proposing a walk of approx. 5 miles from the pub leaving at 10:00am to Pamber Forest, via Little London, Bramley and back to the pub for lunch at 1:15pm.
For those wishing to partake of lunch, we will need to pre-order, (Please refer to the email sent out by Robin Cugston 28/11/24, which includes a menu and booking form). Please note that this is a few pounds more expensive at £28 for 2 courses or £33 for 3 courses. A deposit of £5 per person is also required. If you have already paid the deposit for the Vine walk, the whole amount will be transferred to the QCA as a deposit and there is no need to send a further £5.
