The walk will commence at 10.00am and we will make our way to the entrance to Morrisons on the London Road. The walk starts in earnest at Kensington Place. From there we will head, by way of river, railway and canal to Bathampton. After leaving the canal we will face a steep climb on the old dramway to Bathampton Down and part of the skyline walk. When we reach Sham castle we will descend via Bathwick to the canal and back to Bath. This walk has 765 feet of ascent most of which is achieved during the ascent up the dramway.
