Overview

This tri-trig walk circles around the heart of the Staffordshire Peak District. The route takes in the trig pillars of Hill House, Blake Mere & Revidge while offering fantastic views across the southern Derbyshire Dales as well as the unique ridgeline of The Roaches. Beginning the walk in the village of Warslow we will cut across the rolling countryside to the first trig at the top the rise of Hill House. Dropping down to the River Hamps we pick up the Hamps Way, following it as it winds its way north as it rises to the foot of Merryton Low and the trig of Blake Mere that sits at its highest point. Turning east we then drop across open moorland, undulating green fields and winding country lanes before rising once more to the final trig of Revidge. A short walk down from here brings you back into Warslow.
