Overview

Leaving the Bowlers Arms car park we head along Enborne Street to Wash Water then, after crossing Andover Road, walk along Penwood Road to Horris Hill.
Passing through the school grounds we continue wending our way across Newtown Common, past Arbuthnot Wood and reaching Adbury before turning back to Newtown. From Newtown we will walk alongside the A339 before crossing it to walk up through Sandleford Park to Warren Road, cross the Andover Road again and then return to the Bowlers Arms via Battery End and Blossom’s Field.
