Overview

Walk from Washington across the fields, where we should see newish lambs, through the woods to Steyning. At Steyning we will have an early lunch and loos. It is possible to catch a bus back to Washington from Steyning for anyone who would like a shorter option. From Steyning we have a long steady climb to the S.D.W. to Chanctonbury Ring where we stop for our final break and fantastic views, then head back down to Washington. There are some stiles, possible mud in the woods and a steep ascent and descent.
