We are the Barnsley & Penistone Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A 2 mile circular walk around the Anglers Country Park Reservoir.
Meeting at the car park in Haw Park Lane, Wintersett, Wakefield WF4 2EB.
Please note parking is £1 for up to 2 hours and £2 for up to 4 hours.
We will finish with refreshments at The Woodland Cafe - everyone is welcome.
Wellbeing 4U walks are operated every fortnight and are strictly 2 miles maximum over easy terain with small inclines. These walks are designed to provide socialising and enjoyment and everyone is wellcome, particulalry anyone who finds longer distances in any way a challenge or who simply wants a short walk with good company.
Bring your camera to capture great memories of friends and landscapes. Bring your binoculars to spot the wildlife. Bring yourself for a great morning out.
At the end of the walk we will visit a cafe for refreshments and more socialising.
