Overview

An interesting library walk which starts near the Llanfair Railway station in Welshpool. The route heads along the edge of the Powis estate towards Castle Caereinion, then ascends steeply to the golf course and the Y Golfa summit with terrific views, before returning along the ridge and part of Glyndwr’s Way to Welshpool. Refreshments available afterwards at The Raven pub near Raven Square.
