In the morning we will follow the high ground from Whiteleaf Hill via Coombe Hill to Bacombe Hill. If it is fine there will be some extensive views. In the afternoon, we drop behind the escarpment to pass through some ancient woodland with weird knarled trees, then return mainly via more woodland, interspersed with a couple of fields.
The car park at Whiteleaf Hill is free. It can be busy so please car-share where possible.
We will start the walk promptly at 10.00 so please arrive in good time.
Remember to bring all the food and drinks you require for the day.
This is a winter walk so please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
Well-behaved dogs are allowed but must be on the lead at all times.
