Circular all day walk (8 very flat miles), commencing at the slightly later than usual time of 10.30 a.m.
The route is 5 miles before the lunch stop at the Five Miles From Anywhere No Hurry Inn at Upware (food pre-booking not required). The return to Wicken is 3 miles where we should be by 4.00PM with opportunities for tea and cake at the Docky Hut Cafe or shopping in the Visitors Centre.
It is hoped we may encounter free ranging ungulates, see various forms of fenland wildlife and hear cuckoos.
Meet at 10.30 AM near the toilets in the NT Car Park, Wicken Fen Nature Reserve, Lode Lane, Wicken, CB7 5XP. (There is a £3.20 parking charge for non members.)
