A pleasant stroll in nice scenery passing through a mixture of parkland, farmland and woodland. There will also be the opportunity to see some original Roman mosaics and maybe some unusual orchids.
From Winchcombe we head out past Sudeley Castle and follow the Winchcombe Way for a couple of miles. After a moderate climb (not steep) we then veer off and drop down through woods and continue across farmland and along tracks , past Sudeley Castle again, back to Winchcombe.
NB: Its forecast hot, so please note the earlier start time of 09:30
Mostly on well used paths and tracks. One moderate climb. Only a few stiles. Likely to meet sheep, but cattle unlikely. Could be a few short muddy patches in the woods. One or two field paths might be a bit overgrown.
