Overview

A longish and toughish walk that can be drastically shortened if required.  Starting from Nunney we walk to Gibbet Hill, then Bedlam and then Murder Combe (doesn't sound very promising so far!!)  Along Whatley Bottom to Chantry and then back past the old Asham Quarry, now a nature reserve.  This is a really brilliant and varied walk, one of my favourites, and designed to give you an appetite before the coming Christmas overindulgence.  Bring a walking pole, boots suitable for muddy conditions and plenty of supplies to sustain you over three stops.  Take sufficient water, despite the time of year.  Ten miles and 330m of climb.
