We are the Mendip Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
An easy 8.5 mile walk from Witham Friary. We leave the village and after a short stretch on the road we enter fields with fine views across Witham Vale. We proceed through Postlebury Woods and the onto the village of Trudoxhill. From here the walk levels out as we cross more fields towards Marston Bigot, passing near the impressive Marston House. We then walk alongside fishing lakes, maybe pausing for a break at the cafe, and then on to Tytherington before heading back towards Witham Friary where the walk ends at the legendary Seymour Arms, back by popular demand! Dog friendly but with some stiles.
