Overview

A walk of about four miles to mark next week's International Women's Day, noting the presence of women at the Palace of Westminster and visiting sites connected to the suffragette movement and to various other women, rich and poor, who fought for equality in the political heart of the nation.  Includes a brief refreshment stop.  A joint walk with Blackheath Ramblers which should finish by about 14.00.
!!!  This walk is limited to 30 people who must book in advance with the leader.
