A walk in the Essex countryside
We walked the route out on Thursday 9th January. The length of the walk, as measured on Strava was 4.66 miles and it took us 1 hour 47 minutes just the two of us. Will probably take longer walking with the whole group. Also to let everyone know that there are two fields to cross, both on the first half of the walk. On the 9th both of these fields were muddy (but not too muddy) but they were quite slippery and in fairness Pauline commented that she wished she had brought and used two walking poles. I thought it would be good to let members know in advance as this is the first walk since before Christmas and also not knowing what the weather will throw at us in the next few days.
