After leaving Godden Green and ascending to the top of Seal chart we we will take the delightful path through the woods to St Lawrence School and continue along the ridge. Near the end of the ridge we turn north to head past the fish ponds and on over the A25 to Oldbury Hill (site of Stone Age artifacts). After a short but steep ascent of the hill we take a fine horizontal path across the top. We return to the start via a couple of steep descents (with, of course, an ascent in between), more woodland, and a walk across a golf course.
Given the time of year, and the current weather patterns, there will be some mud, but less than many woodlands in the area.
