Overview

A typical up and down Cotswold walk. From the starting point, we make our way via Tyley Bottom to the Ozleworth Estate on our way to lunch at Newark Park, a National Trust Hunting Lodge. After lunch we descend to the fields below Wotton before returning to the starting point through the town. The walk is mainly on tracks and footpaths, with road walking through Wotton, though depending on conditions it may be necessary to use quiet county lanes to avoid difficult spots.

Apart from Wotton itself, the walk skirts rather than going through villages. I am hoping that Newark Park will be open that day - it is well known for snowdrops - in which case the cafe and toilets will be open - bring your Membership Card if you are a National Trust Member. Otherwise it will be necessary to bring refreshments for the day.
