We are the Wolverhampton Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk through Ercall woods, the walk goes all round the Wrekin with a steep climb to the top offering a view point with amazing views.
Although the overall walk is Moderate, we will be walking up the South side of the Wrekin which involves a walking up a steep slope for about 985 yards.
There will be a short drinks stop and a slightly longer lunch stop - so remember to bring a drink and a packed lunch.
This is a joint walk with Stourbridge Ramblers.
Do make sure you're fit enough and have the right footwear and clothing for weather conditions and the walk you want to do. You can contact the group or leader if in doubt. Non-members of the Ramblers Association are welcome to join us on a couple of walks before deciding whether to join the group.
Ercall Wood car park, Ercall Lane, TF1 2DY. Turn into Ercall Lane, follow the one way system, cross the bridge and then the car park is on the left.
