We are the Pontypool Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

After leaving the car park we take the forest track through Bargain wood with its fine view points over the river Wye below. From here we follow the path to Cleddon falls. Then take the trail to near the bottom for a different viewpoint of the falls. After walking up through and around Cuckoo wood we will return to the start.
There are no stiles on this walk but some mud should be expected underfoot if there is heavy rainfall just before the day of our walk.
All ascents will be taken at a moderate pace.

Whitestone Upper Car Park (Free). Drive through the barrier at the top of the lower car park and a little way along the forest road.
