Overview

Join us for a Tyne Valley walk. The walk starts and ends in Wylam at the free car park near to Wylam Bridge (north of river Tyne). The walk heads south up past Bradley Farm , turns west below Hag Hill and skirts Prudhoe, lunch will be taken with splendid view down the Tyne Valley. Turning north around High Mickley and dropping to the Tyne Riverside Country Park ( Toilets available) we will complete the return to Wylam along the River Tyne on a mainly flat path. In total the walk is 9.7 miles , with 1100 feet of climb in total, but could be shortened if weather is inclement. 

There are several stiles and gates on this walk.

We walked through a small field with 5 horses which ignored us.
