Join the York Ramblers for a circular ramble from Ripley.
We begin the walk by following the Nidderdale Way passing through the villages of Clint and Hampsthwaite to reach Birstwith. Leaving the Nidderdale Way to re-cross the River Nidd, we head passed Nidd House Farm and Catstone Wood to cross the B6165 then continue, passing near Winsley Hall Farm, to Shaw Mills. The walk then goes up to Hill Top, across the B6165 again, passed Whipley Hall and Hall Rails Farm, to rejoin the Nidderdale Way and return to the Ripley Castle Car Park.
