We hold Area meetings 

Bringing our Area and group representatives together at team meetings to share successes, knowledge and ideas and review key Ramblers updates. We also hold Area AGMs for all group members, to celebrate the year just gone and look forward to the upcoming year. 

We organise Area events 

This includes joint Area group walks, talks, social gatherings and get togethers to discuss key themes within the groups.  

We campaign for our Rights of Way

Whether its tackling planning applications that might impact our footpath network, or reporting obstructions and diversions, we work closely with our local groups, the council and other organisations to ensure our footpath network remains open for everyone.  

We maintain our footpaths 

Our groups carry out essential maintenance work by repairing and replacing stiles, gates, footbridges and much more to keep our footpaths accessible all year round.
