About us

Formed in 1999, we were originally a 20s-30s group. As time has moved on, we have dropped the age restriction, and anybody is welcome to walk with us. In practice, most of the regulars in the group are 30s-40s.  

Social events

We run social events on a regular basis - these are organised by the members and advertised on walks or by email.   

Weekends away

We organise weekends away at regular intervals through the year. We normally book places in a youth hostel but try to organise them so that alternative such as B&Bs and campsites are available for those who want more or less comfort! Locations can include the Lake District, Scotland, North Yorkshire, North Wales and even further afield.
