Social events 

We are a sociable bunch and organise a number of social get-togethers for our members. A highlight of the year is our members Walking Weekend where we stay in a hotel and enjoy a full programme of walks. We also organise a Christmas Lunch and, during the summer, the occasional evening get-together and meal. 

We maintain a private members Facebook page which we use to post pictures of our walks and other snippets of information of interest. We also have a WhatsApp group which is very popular as means for communicating additional information about walks.  

Join us 

As a Ramblers member you will be entitled to discounts on walking gear from selected retailers and will also have exclusive access to the Ramblers App and the on-line library of Ramblers routes.  

Plus, you will be supporting an organisation that is dedicated to preserving and improving our footpaths that we all love.   

Evesham Group members, will also be entitled to join our Facebook and our WhatsApp groups.  

If you are not sure whether you want to join, you are very welcome to come as a guest for up to three walks before deciding. 

Walk programmes 

All Ramblers group programmed walks are published on the main Ramblers website. A list of all the upcoming Evesham Ramblers walks also appears on our website [link]. Click on any one of them to see the full details. You can then have a look at the walk details and grading to see whether it is suitable for you.   

Walking with us 

Most walks do not require booking. Just turn up at the place and time specified, allowing sufficient time to get kitted up. You should come suitably attired. This would normally mean boots or sturdy walking shoes (or wellies in winter); waterproofs if there is a chance of rain; warm clothing in winter; drinks and refreshments; spare water in hot weather. 

Occasionally a walk will be identified as ‘Booking Needed’. In such cases booking should be made either using the Evesham Ramblers WhatsApp or by text or e-mail to the Walk Leader.
