Social events 

We offer our members social events. These include group holidays, meals out, extra walks, trips out and exploring local history. 

 

 

Footpaths 

We actively monitor the state of our local footpaths and provide input to the local council to help maintain the viability of the paths.  

 

Our Walks

We offer a range of three fortnightly walks free of charge (only charging for the coach fare), to any of the following areas: Lancashire; Cheshire; North Wales; Cumbria; Lake District; Yorkshire; Peak District, Staffordshire. By traveling by coach, not only is it more environmentally friendly, but we avoid the problem of finding sufficient car parking and the prospect of having to drive home. Following our walks we allow time for well-deserved refreshments, be that tea/coffee and cake, or a pint from the local pub.
