We will cross the town passing many listed buildings, then follow Freight Lane to the relatively young woodland that is Barnett's Wood. We will then complete a loop through this and the more mature Comfort's Wood, which was donated to the Woodland Trust by Dr Alex Comfort. These mixed woodlands are thriving with flora and fauna for you to enjoy.
It can be a little muddy in places so we recommend that you wear sturdy, waterproof footwear.
This walk can take up to 90 minutes but a shorter version is available at 10am.
There is an opportunity to go for a drink in the Congregational Church in Cranbrook after the walk.
Free parking is available in Jockey Lane car park or the nearby Co-op car park and buses stop in the high street.
