Overview

Our Thursday Wellbeing Walks in the beautiful city of Bath start off at the same point, the Monksdale Road allotments. A tranquil, safe space where Bath Mind have set up Greenlinks, a community support group offering people with mental and physical health issues the opportunity to engage in gardening activities. Each week we pick the walk that most suits the group.

One route takes us along the Linear Park which serves as a ribbon of countryside through the city, with distant glimpsed views of many of the city's iconic features, such as the Royal Crescent. Sometimes we go to Bear Flat and Alexandra Park, other times along to the parks at Bloomfield Green and Brickfields. We meet in the allotment car park, ready to go at 11.

Please note, no dogs except assistance dogs, thank you.

Car Park at Monksdale Road Allotments. The car park is located half way down Monksdale Road, if you're going downhill the allotments are on your left, up hill the car park is just after the children's play park on your right. Sometimes the barrier is down, but we gather in the car park or just outside the barrier. If you're driving, please park in the neighbouring residential streets, rather than in the car park.
