Overview

Join us for a friendly weekly coastal walk, enjoying the greenery, sea and wildlife, walking from Bidbury Mead Recreational Ground to Farlington Marsh and back along the coastal path. We will meet at the Bidbury carpark, walking down Mill Road, over the A27 footbridge and along the coastal path to Farlington Marsh and then return. This marsh area is classed as being a site for special scientific interest due to the number of migrating birds from around the world.

NB: WELLIES required in the winter when it has rained heavily, due to a puddled area before the footbridge.

Ideally we will stop midway and have a rest, please bring water or a flask of tea/coffee to enjoy, as there is no where to buy a drinks/snacks etc. .

This walk will be run by a Social Prescriber from the local Havant and Waterlooville PCN, to invite local patients and residents  to get out and get active. Contact Maxine 07766 358309. Maxine.rayner1@nhs.net.
