Join us for a friendly weekly coastal walk, enjoying the greenery, sea and wildlife, walking from Bidbury Mead Recreational Ground to Farlington Marsh and back along the coastal path.
NB:This is a site of special scientific interest (SSSI), as a lot of migrating birds have a stop of here. We have a local Heron we see sometimes, along with the swans and egrets, and the migrating birds.
We will meet at the Bidbury carpark, walking down Mill Road, over the A27 footbridge and along the coastal path to Farlington Marsh and then return. Distance is approximately 2.3mi in total, and takes roughly 30-40mins each way.
Every Wednesday Morning aiming to leave at 10am.
Ideally, we will stop midway and have a rest, please bring water as there is no café stop off. Wellies may be required after heavy rain. There is a patch that gets a bit water logged before the footbridge.
This walk will be run by a Social Prescriber from the local Havant and Waterlooville PCN, to invite local patients and residents to get out and get active.
