Overview

Ramblers Wellbeing Walks - Take a step towards better health, wellbeing and happiness, to help manage health conditions, reduce symptoms, and boost mood. No booking necessary. You will get a warm welcome when you join me on weekly Cottenham wellbeing walks, Thursdays at 11am. Walks take about 30-minutes, which start and finish at the Broad Lane car park, via various loops around the paths of Les King wood. Routes are easy and the pace is gentle.

Bring your own water and, if needed, protection from the weather. The paths can get muddy after it’s been raining. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. (Limitations: paths are unpaved and not suitable for walking aids/wheelchairs. There are no toilets at the Broad Lane car park).

Given the robust evidence in support of the physical and psychological benefits of being in green spaces, it’s difficult to ignore the value of taking part.

Looking forward to seeing you! If you have any questions, get in touch: srmaccallum@yahoo.co.uk
