Overview

You will be welcomed by this friendly group, to join them on a walk on the marshes and around the lakes in South Merstham. There is plenty of wildlife such as ducks, grebes, swans, coots, cormorants and herons. In the springtime, you will see lambs in the surrounding fields. The walk lasts 90-minutes and starts from the Merstham Community Hub/library.

The route goes across the lakes on the Watercolour Development for a little bird watching and then on into the countryside nearby. There are good walking surfaces throughout, with an alterntive route if the path becomes flooded.

The walk can also be joined at the junction of Nutfield Road and Holmesdale Avenue at 11:20
