Overview

Join us on this weekly walk alongside Thacka Beck, utilising Penrith Town Council’s recently created footpath through Thackabeck Field.  Seating is available along the way for a chance to catch our breath, have a chat and engage in a spot of wildlife or people watching.  Or there’s plenty of grass to run around on if you’re feeling energetic!

Our intention for this group is to provide a gentle, inclusive route with opportunities to be active and socialise whilst walking together. All welcome - walkers, parents with buggies, and wheelchair users who want to get out in the fresh air for half an hour.

There are some slopes and the option of shallow steps on this walk to get your heart going and there may be some areas of rougher stones.
