Overview

Join the walk leader volunteers for a lovely stroll around Watermeadows Park in Penistone. The route is mainly flat and paved, with one road to cross at a pedestrian crossing. The bridge into the park can be slippery when wet, but the route doesn't get muddy. The walk is wheelchair and pram-friendly. Dogs are welcome but asked to be kept on a lead.

Stay for a cuppa back at the Hub Community Cafe in Penistone Leisure Centre after the walk.

Appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather is advised.

Limited parking is available at Penistone Leisure Centre or you can catch the buses 20, 21, 21a, 23, 25, 25a, or 29, that drops you just before Penistone Leisure Centre.
