We start by Abbotsbury Swannery and walk along the coast before turning inland to Portesham where we join the disused railway to return to the pretty village of Abbotsbury.
The walk starts with a steep hill but then is generally flat (by Dorset standards).
There are several stiles and, unsurprisingly at this time of year, it is muddy and slippery in parts.
The walk has been changed to 'moderate' and reduced in length because of the conditions underfoot. It will be walked at a relatively leisurely pace.
This is a morning walk. There will be a drink stop.
No dogs.
Please check the website after 7pm on the previous evening if the weather forecast is poor to check that the walk is going ahead.
