Overview

This easy and almost flat walk explores the pleasantly wooded countryside around Brampton. A circular walk from Talkin Tarn to Brampton uses a network of quiet country roads, a disused railway line and good paths and tracks.

NB - on 30/11/24 there was a road closed sign on the B6413, out of Castle Carrock, towards Cumrew, Newbiggin and Croglin.
