A scenic circular walk consisting of open farmland and woods in the quiet Pang valley of West Berkshire, there will be a few lanes. Good views of the Pang valley included. We will first make our way to the village of Frilsham where we have a lunch stop in nearby woods followed by heading over largely open farm land to the village of Stanford Dingley. From Stanford Dingley we return to our start across fields and at times by the banks of the gentle flowing River Pang.
After the walk we have an option for a social drink at the The Bladebone Inn, Chapel Row.
Park in the car park next to the Victory Room, this is the Bucklebury Village Hall and is next to the village recreation ground and opposite the village church.
As usual bring lunch and a drink. On the pre-walk, one field had cattle with a few calves, so please do not bring dogs on this walk.
